Asa Businge is the Manager, Compliance & Quality Assurance at the firm.
Asa rejoined Alec G. Henley & Associates on April 1, 2025, after returning on a contract basis in Fall 2024. He previously worked with the firm beginning in 2020 as a Group Retirement and Benefits Analyst. He now serves in a leadership role focused on advancing internal standards and enhancing client service delivery.
He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, with a focus on resource economics and econometrics, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree. Asa brings a strong background in financial valuation, investment analysis, and policy development, with experience spanning sectors such as Pensions and Benefits Advisory, Municipal Finance, Economic Consulting, and Satellite Telecommunications. His expertise combines technical proficiency with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and process optimization.
In his current role, Asa ensures that all Group Benefits and Group Pension strategies meet the highest standards of compliance and quality. He supports clients through detailed financial modeling, plan benchmarking, and the development of evidence-based Group Retirement and Benefits strategies that align with long-term objectives while upholding regulatory and operational integrity.
