Cheryl has been with the Firm since 1997 and now serves as Vice-President and Consultant. In addition to graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology, Hons), Cheryl completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program in which she received Certification in Group Benefits, Retirement Plans, and Compensation and Strategic Human Resource Management.

Cheryl has also attained her Level III Life License (including Accident and Sickness), and she has received the designations: Chartered Life Underwriter, and Certified Health Insurance Specialist. She has also completed the STEP Canada’s Certificate in Estate and Trust Administration Program and is now working towards the achievement of her Trust and Estate Administrator Designation.

With Alec G. Henley & Associates Ltd., her role as a consultant includes the provision of quality client service, specifically in matters pertaining to Group and Individual Life, Health, Dental, Travel and Disability Insurance solutions and concepts as well as in Group Retirement and related areas.
